Dr. Rampersad began his tertiary education at University of Manitoba Canada where he majored in Zoology. He then went on to pursue a medical degree at the University of the West Indies, graduating in 1978.
After practicing medicine as a familiar practitioner for two years, he returned to university to pursue a diploma in anaesthetics. He later changed his focus to business and entered an Executive MBA program. more..

qualified as a mechanical engineer prior to obtaining his degree in medicine from the University of Siena, Italy, in 1979. Following training in Florence he decided to pursue his career in the UK. After a six months intensive language course he obtained his first junior post in London and later became a Registrar at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, where he undertook most of his training. After a year spent in Rotterdam at the Erasmus University he was appointed as a Senior Lecturer/Consultant at the University of Sheffield. more...

One of Trinidad and Tobago’s noted gynaecologists, Dr. Kongshiek Achong Low has practiced locally since 1981 when he returned from his medical studies and residencies in Canada. In 1970, he graduated with First Class Honours from Canada’s McGill University with a B.Sc. in Genetics. He then went on to pursue his medical degree, earned his M.D.C.M in 1975 and commenced a rotating internship at McGill’s Hospital Centres.
